From: Alicia Parrish, LV, NV We were attending the annual Martin Family Reunion that year. I was recently engaged. We (William and I)had not informed the family and wanted it to be a surpise. Well during the course of family introductions, my Cousin Gordon, "forced us" lovingly to "spill the surprise" We had not even informed our parents. But Cousin Gordon was such a child at heart he could not "keep the secret". So he, instead of my father announced our engagement. We laughed so hard about the "opps", we vowed never to let him forget. And until recent years, I casually reminded him of the events that day. I still laugh with as much laughter today as I did that year during the family reunion. You will be missed down here, but forwever loved in our memories. God Bless you!!
